A Swedish educational centre has been opened in Novi Sad

kepNovi Sad, 28 September – A Swedish educational centre aimed at young people, the unemployed, persons with disabilities and all those who want to increase their knowledge has been opened at the Master Centre of the Novi Sad Fair. The opening of the centre resulted from the cooperation among the Office for European Affairs of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, representatives of the Swedish region of Halland and the Swedish association, ABF, engaged in liberal adult education. The representatives of the ABF said that the educational centre would be a place where the unemployed, persons with special needs and all those interested could acquire new knowledge and computer skills, learn or improve foreign languages and develop some craft skills.   More...

Greater cooperation between Vojvodina and a Swedish region

A Vojvodinian project in front of EU partners


Trieste, Italy, 10 September – Since the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina is a participant in the European project MATRIOSCA, a meeting of the representatives of Austria, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina has been held in Trieste today. A signpost to EU accession – Vojvodina as an important link


A seminar named “The Process of Serbia’s EU Accession” was held in the small hall of the Pančevo Municipal Assembly on 5 September. The topic was presented by the representatives of the Office for European Affairs of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina from Novi Sad, Igor Bajić, Andrija Aleksić and Nenad Đuretić. Srđan Miković, President of Municipality, greeted the lecturers and participants and emphasized that the seminar was organised with the aim of improving the living standard of our citizens and as a signpost to European integration. “Step Forward”, a seminar on the European Union in Pančevo


The next lectures on the European Union, as a part of a series of seminars held by the Office for European Affairs named “Step Forward”, will be held in the small room of the city administration building in Pančevo commencing at 11 am, on Wednesday, 5 September.  
Lead by the notion that not only greater centres in Vojvodina should be informed about the subject, but also municipalities interested in regional cooperation and project development, which would be financed through EU funds, seminars have been held in Sombor, Zrenjanin, Kovačica, Senta, Bač, Alibunar and Čoka. The participants were mostly interested in the presentation on neighbourhood programmes.
