On the basis of a successfully completed European project, MATRIOSCA, in which the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina also participated as a member through the Office for European Affairs, a meeting of the “Bio Alpe-Adria-Pannonia” Project was held in Maribor, Slovenia in the past few days. The meeting was attended by the representatives of Slovenia, Austria, Croatia and Vojvodina.
In cooperation with the Public Procurement Office of Republic of Serbia, the Office for European Affairs has organised a conference on the Draft Law on Public Procurement in the great hall of the Assembly of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. 
The Annual Members’ Conference of Chatham House, the home of the British Royal Institute of International Affairs, is being held in London and it is dedicated to the current financial challenges in economic markets. Membership at Chatham House, which member is also the Office for European Affairs, brings together hundreds of largest private companies in the areas of finance, industry, telecommunication, energy, as well as a number of governmental institutions from all over the world. 
A seminar on Financial Management of the EU Structural Funds was held in Maastricht, the Netherlands, organized by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA). The seminar was attended, apart from the members of this institution, by the representatives of the DG Regio and DG for Employment of the European Commission, as well as of the Departments for Management of EU Funds from Ireland, Wales, the Czech Republic, Poland, Great Britain, Slovenia, etc.
All parts of Serbia have equal development elements as Vojvodina, however, the rest of our country has large limitations on the use of opportunities for Europeanisation and increase of economic development due to the non-existence of regions.
