Upon the invitation of the Republic of France and the Committee of the Regions, the delegation of the Office for European Affairs has been attending a two-day Conference on Territorial Cohesion and Future of Cohesion Policy of the EU in Paris. 
The Office for European Affairs has recently established “Friend of Office for European Affairs, Friend of Vojvodina” Award and Swedish colleagues were presented with two awards at today’s press conference. 
The European Regional Champions Awards have been developed by the Committee of the Regions (CoR) of the European Union and the Parliament Magazine, and champions are nominated in different categories each year.
“18th October is the European Day Against Human Trafficking, a day of fight against one great evil. According to Europol data, the institution most concerned about this issue at EU level, and US State Departmant’s estimate, Serbia has been characterized as a high-risk country, in which the number of people becoming victims of modern slavery is increasing. Therefore, it is our task to raise the awareness of the general public and relevant institutions about the importance of combating this serious problem. 
Within the framework of the “Office for European Affairs’ tours”, a seminar has been held in Titel with the aim of encouraging our local self-governments and other applicants to participate in CBC Programs, which are currently the most recognisable instrument for the use of EU and other development program funds that the EU offers to our country. 
The Office for European Affairs has given the third computer lesson for persons with disabilities, residing at the Gerontology Centre in Zrenjanin. Basic programmes, such as MS Office, were introduced during the first lessons, and now love poems are being written. 
Upon the invitation of the Government of the Italian region of Veneto, the representatives of the Office for European Affairs visited the Veneto Region Brussels’s Office, where there was a press conference on finding possible solutions and developing European projects on environmental protection and health, i.e. combating the diffusion of Ambrosia pollen. On this occasion, presentations were given by the representatives of Vojvodina, Government of Veneto, Croatian institutions, Directorate General for Health and Consumers of the European Commission and European Parliament. 
The Office for European Affairs and the representatives of the Public Water Management Company “Vode Vojvodine” are participating in the meetings on the initiation of Project “Waterways Forward”, which is related to the management of inland waterways across Europe, in Lille, France. 
Igor Bajić, Advisor for EU Integration Processes, Office for European Affairs, attended the signing ceremony of the Grant Agreement on Romania-Serbia CBC Program in Požarevac yesterday.
