On the basis of cooperation between the Office for European Affairs and Swedish partners, the representatives of the city of Gothenburg, their trade unions and ombudsman are in visit to Vojvodina. 
Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, together with Italian investors, have visited the administration and more important businessmen of that region, on the basis of the signed Cooperation Agreement between the Office for European Affairs and the town of Užice, with reference to the promotion of European values, joint project design and Vojvodina’s support to regional partners in other parts of the Republic of Serbia. 
The representatives of the Office for European Affairs, Predrag Novikov and Andrija Aleksić, together with Italian partners, have visited the region of Eastern Serbia, on the basis of the signed Cooperation Agreement between the Office for European Affairs and Dimitrovgrad municipality, and in compliance with the decision of Vojvodina on giving support to other parts of the country for the process of Europeisation. 
A five-day seminar on EU project writing has been held, which was organized by the implementation unit of the Integrated Regional Development Plan of the AP of Vojvodina, Austrian partners, and with the support of the Office for European Affairs. 
Goran Vuković, President of Ruma Municipality, and Milorad Stepanov, President of the Municipal Assembly of Žabalj, have signed a Cooperation Agreement on capacity building, with reference to cross-border cooperation and attraction of foreign direct investment, with the Office for European Affairs. 
Based on the partnership between the Novi Sad Student Cultural Centre and the Office for European Affairs, Europe Day will be celebrated in Novi Sad this year too, just as last year and two years ago.
The European Summit of Regions and Cities is being held in Prague these days, where more than 600 representatives are present. At the invitation of the Committee of the Regions in Brussels, the Office for European Affairs, together with the Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources, is participating in the Summit. 
At the invitation of the Committee of the Regions, Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, and Milan Čežek, Assistant of the Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources, will be participating in the European Summit of Regions and Cities in Prague. This year’s Summit will gather more that 600 representatives of institutions all over Europe and this session of the European Parliament, probably for the last time before the elections in June. 
The representatives of the region of Molise have officially supported the initiative for participation of representatives of Vojvodina and other parts of Republic of Serbia in the Adriatic cooperation programmes at the meeting aimed at strengthening regional cooperation, on the proposal of the representative of the Office for European Affairs. 
The Office for European Affairs was established by the Executive Council of AP Vojvodina in April 2006. The task of the Office is to consolidate and steer the activities of provincial institutions in the European integration processes and to promote common European values and ideas.
