Novi Sad, 28 May - The Provincial Secretariat for Labour, Employment and Gender Equality and the Office for European Affairs have organized a two-day seminar “Training in Project Cycle Management“ at the CePTOR Centre in Andrevlje, which is aimed at the representatives of rural women’s organizations in Vojvodina. 
On the basis of the signed Protocol on Cooperation, as well as mutual wish to improve economic, trade and administrative relations between our two provinces, the President of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Šandor Egereši and Predrag Novikov, Director of the Office for European Affairs, are leading the delegation of municipalities of Vojvodina, having shown interest in increased cooperation. On this occasion, the municipalities of Kanjiža, Bečej, Irig, Ruma and Žabalj will have an opportunity to present their resources to Austrian partners.
European partnership between the Office for European Affairs and the city of Niš has been signed today at the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. 
The representatives of Upper Austria (Oberösterreich) have paid a visit to the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, which has been co-organised by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Office for European Affairs. 
The Vice-president of the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, Martin Zloh and the Director of the Office for European Affairs, Predrag Novikov have visited Kovačica Municipality and talked with municipal authorities about the new Romania - Serbia Cross-border Cooperation (CBC) Programme. 
A new office of Friuli Venezia Giulia has been opened at the Master Centre of the Novi Sad Fair on 11 May 2009, on the basis of cooperation between the Office for European Affairs and Italian partners. The members of the administration of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and Friuli Venezia Giulia were present at the opening. 
A meeting between Italian economists and representatives of the provincial administration, Provincial Secretariat for Energy and Mineral Resources and Provincial Secretariat for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development has been held at the Office for European Affairs on 11 May 2009. 
With reference to the opening of a new Call for proposals under the framework of the Romania-Serbia IPA Cross-border Cooperation (CBC) Programme, a press conference has been held at the Office for European Affairs, at which the director, Predrag Novikov and Andrija Aleskić, in charge of cross-border cooperation programmes, provided details about the possiblities for applying for considerable Euoropean funds.
Memorandums of Cooperation between the Office for European Affairs and municipalities of Irig and Bečej have been signed at the Executive Council of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
