It has become a tradition that on Fridays the Office for European Affairs organises “Open Doors“, an event dedicated to providing information on project writing, by means of which it is possible to apply for EU funds, to interested institutions and individuals from our country. 
Yesterday lectures on the following topic: “EU – CBC Programmes, Current Projects“, with special attention paid to education, were held at the grammar school in Bečej. The event was organised by the Office for European Affairs and the hosts. 
On the basis of regional cooperation, a dance competition, ESDU DANCESTAR - Serbia Open 2010 was held in our city yesterday. At the same time, it was a regional qualification tournament for the World Dance Masters 2010, to be held in Poreč, Croatia next month. 
On the basis of great interest expressed by institutions and individuals related to the submission of project proposals, financed through pre-accession funds of the EU, as well as to training in project writing, the Office for European Affairs has set a permanent appointment for consultation held on Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm at the Department for EU Programmes (Master Centre Novi Sad Fair, Hajduk Veljkova 11, Official Entrance 5, Floor 6). 
It is in the organisation of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy that provincial institutions are presenting the touristic potential of Vojvodina at one of the largest tourism fairs these days. Apart from the Provincial Secretariat for Economy, among the other participants are the Office for European Affairs, Tourist Organisation of Vojvodina, Tourist Organisation of Sremski Karlovci, travel agencies of the province, Tourist Organisation of Serbia, Tourist Organisation of Belgrade and others. 
The meeting of the Work Group and Steering Committee of the European project, Waterways Forward is being held today and tomorrow in the Netherlands. Apart from the Public Water Management Company “Vode Vojvodine” and the Office for European Affairs, the project participants are also partners from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, France, Spain, England, Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands, as the host. 
In 2000 four countries, today EU Member States, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary formed the international organization, Višegrad Fund, seated in Bratislava. The purpose of the Fund is promotion of development and cooperation between member states and cooperation with countries to access the EU. 
On the basis of signed Cooperation Agreements between the Office for European Affairs and other cities all over the country, the representatives of the Office for European Affairs will pay a visit to Niš and talk to the representatives of some municipalities from southern part of the country with reference to offering support and assistance in applying for EU Pre-Accession Funds.
